Kraken GenAI Assistant - Hackathon Entry (video)
Overview:
The 2023 Lighthouse Hackathon theme was to produce practical business solutions utilizing Generative AI. Our team focused on producing a winning entry for a proof-of-concept Generative AI "Assistant" applied to the Kraken Design System that empowered users to dynamically generate usable UI code through natural language prompts. The solution responds to descriptions of UI patterns provided by the user and translates them into a rendered code demonstration that automatically utilizes design system reusable code components and accurately applies all relevant styling guidelines. Through prompt dialog interaction with the Kraken DS Assistant agent, the user provides further information to iterate and refine the UI pattern composition until satisfied. Once complete, the source code for the UI pattern may be easily copied to a feature development project.
